I'm not particularly skilled when it comes to handling DAT tapes, to put it mildly. However, I had a strong desire to convert an old DAT tape, containing a journey I probably won't embark on again, into a more accessible format like a WAV . The tape had already snapped and was stored in a chilly attic, but I was elated to discover a professional restoration service that could skillfully repair it and transform it into a listenable format. Admittedly, the service came with a higher price tag, but can you really put a price on cherished memories? Since there were no local options available, I opted to send the DAT tape to mediaSOS, who maintained regular communication with me to update me on the progress. I couldn't be happier with the final outcome.

I couldn’t have asked for more from media sos - what a wonderful company! Fantastic communication, a quick turnaround and amazing, quality service. Not only have they repaired an old, damaged tape which I didn’t think could be fixed, but they have enhanced the quality too. Thanks to them, I now have a super precious memory to hold onto! Media SOS completed the work fast and kindly called me on the phone to clarify how the job was going to be done. I had 3 cassettes transferred to CD. I paid more for one tape to be done with another company than what I paid with Media SOS. The service was good value for money.
